The operator will donate the money to charitable causes after settling with the Commission in the UK market.

As a result of an investigation, Blue Star Planet was subject to a section 116 regulatory examination on September 7, 2021.

Blue Star Planet's policies meant to safeguard the vulnerable and avoid money laundering (ML) were discovered to have flaws during the regulatory evaluation. On June 22, 23, 24, and 25, 2021, Commission Officials conducted a compliance examination, which led to the discovery of these concerns.

From November 2019 until June 2021, Blue Star Planet broke multiple rules and conditions of their licencing.

During the course of the inquiry and the accompanying regulatory evaluation, it was discovered that Blue Star Planet Limited had failed to apply adequate anti-money laundering (AML) policies, procedures, and controls. Its policies, procedures, controls, and standards for responsible gambling were also found to be lacking.

From November 2019 through June 2021, Blue Star Planet was found to have violated licence restrictions by the Commission, including the implementation of anti-money laundering procedures.

Instead of imposing a fine, the regulator directed Blue Star Planet Limited to pay a settlement of £620,000; the money will go towards charity. In addition, the Commission has ordered the corporation to pay £3,571.25 to cover the costs of the investigation.
